Upcoming MMORPG The Secret World has gotten a pre-order trailer.  This gritty and interesting video game on dark fantasy and mythology is releasing for the PC on June 19, 2012.  A date for the Xbox 360 version has not been revealed yet.

EA is at it again and this time the server shut down is angering gamers who had to purchase an online pass in order to use the multiplayer.

MMA, EA Sports Active 2, The Saboteur, The Godfather II, and a few others that you can find at EA’s Service Updates, are all having their servers shut down on April 13th.  EA cites that only 1% of their player base play these games and therefore are no longer needed.

Fans of MMA took to EA’s MMA forums to speak their mind about how disappointed they are that EA keeps shutting down servers for games that are requiring an online pass to play and are questioning why EA does not choose to use a virtual server for the games that fall in the low category of usage.

Other server shut downs that will be happening later this month on March 31st for users of the iPhone, iPad, and iTouch include Battlefield 3: Aftershock, Fantasi Safari, and Ghost Harvest.

Four and a half years since the launch of the revolutionary original Mass Effect, which introduced a new style of RPG, the final installment of the trilogy has released.  More than four years of hype are riding on it.  And with as epic a follow up as Mass Effect 2, the stakes are even higher.

Ubisoft has announced their 2012 list of releases and interestingly enough, Assassin’s Creed 3 is listed on that list for release this year.

The creative minds behind the desks at Bethesda have been busy, because today the 1.4 update for Skyrim went live across Steam and Xbox Live.  Bethesda is waiting to hear back from Sony regarding the Playstation 3 patch, but they remain hopeful that it will release today.

The patch fixes several bugs, quests issues, and adds support for Skyrim Workshop for the PC.  For a complete list of the fixes, head on over to Bethesda Blog.

The newly announced Sims 3 expansion, “Showtime” is all about your sim showing off their inner acrobat, singer, magician, or DJ.

 Showtime not only helps your sim reach their goal of being a super star, but also incorporates the SimPort which allows you to have your sim perform in a friend’s world and allows your friends to enter your world.

The expansion will also feature new goals, items, unique venues for your sim to perform, and will post your every move to networking social giant, Facebook.

The Sims 3: Showtime has only been announced for the PC and Mac and if you pre-order for either, you will receive an Ultimate Stage Venue.
